MY APPROACH

If you’re yearning for change, more clarity, or feeling stuck, my role is to partner with you to identify what gets in the way of achieving greater happiness and to be a compassionate ally as you move through obstacles, heal past conditioning, and take steps toward your desired life.  I’ve found we all have an inner knowing and innate qualities of well- being, though we may not always recognize it. I’ll listen fully with curiosity and compassion in the process of self -discovery and transformation. I strive to create a safe environment where all parts of you are welcome as you discover your best path forward.   Through my own experience of living with generational trauma and anxiety, I have a keen awareness of how limiting beliefs can cause us to stay stuck in patterns formed early in life, robbing us of living fully. It’s possible to create new relationships with our patterns and beliefs and ultimately  ourselves and others.

My Specialties

I’m inspired to work with people in their “second act” going through life transitions – career, aging, retirement, grief, divorce / relationship changes, illness - along with women who are finding their authentic voice, wanting to make choices that align with their deepest values.  Specialties include anxiety and stress management,  trauma and disability.  I have a fondness for working with spiritual seekers and those motivated to come back to the still calm place of their heart.

Education & Training

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, having received my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.   I am also a Certified Professional Life and Transformational Coach through the International Coaching Federation.  I hold a certificate in Internal Family Systems Therapy.  I’m a licensed Anytime Anywhere Meditation Teacher. I’ve worked as a Reiki practitioner and “energy worker.”  My background includes working as a disability advocate, access consultant for people with disabilities and “community builder.”  I’m passionate about going on silent retreats, both solo and in community, meditation, wandering in nature and making music, all of which inform my work.
